Will a 92mm cpu cooler fit on the Intel Core 2 Duo E8400?

by 92mm its referring to the size of the fan on the HSF. And i guess ur talking about the artic cooling freezer 7 in which case yes it will. For next time just look in the description and it will have compatible sockets.

as for your other questions, the HD should be fine if your going to use 750gb, the psu is overkill and said go for the wiser 650tx.

The major concern for me is your cpu, never consider buying a dial core unless your on a tight budget, especially since this is a gaming build. q6600 is a far better option if your going to be gaming especially for upcoming dx10 games.

also stick with ddr2, ddr3 is just a waste of money right now and not worth the price.
