Hi there,

My current graphics card is getting quite outdated (Radeon X1050), and I was wondering if anyone could recommend a reasonably good one. I'm quite a gamer but not what you'd call a "hardcore" one.

I don't play demanding games such as Crysis or Bioshock, but I'm looking for something that can run the majority of FPS's without playing them on lowest quality, like I do now.
I'm more comfortable with ATI products, but I'm prepared to settle for a Nvidia one or else. Kind of stuck for money at the moment, but at the very maximum I'd like to spend no more than £50 (I think that's about $90? My conversion skills are terrible.)

Here are my specs (from CPU-Z):

Sorry if I seem a bit pushy, I've got a bad history of buying the wrong hardware ;)

And if not, look for a decent 8600GT XXX or a 2600XT. Both of those cards can tear bioshock a new one. As well as playing Crysis on low probably. They go around 90~100$. So they're just in your budget range, I'd probably hold onto them until the 9600's and 3800's drop around 150~120ish price range. Which will probably within a year or two.

Been looking at the new 9600GT's..... but they still get whooped by the 9800GTX several times around. Next build is including a 9800GTX : D
