Ok.. already brought an 8800GT 512mb for 250. Im left with 400$ Australian.
Looking for Motherboard/Cpu/Ram.
I looked at intel, but it seems so expensive, if i got intel id want Q6600 or the highest end dual core. With AMD ID like the Athlon 6000+ X2
Motherboard im looking for, Must have SLI. AM2. 4x Memory slots.
Ram im not sure about, but whatever i can get with left over money.
If people know what i should get between AMD Or Intel please tell me, intel seemed so hard to find for the motherboard that i want with the features.
from a quick glance, AMD seemed much cheaper.

AMD Athlon X2 6000+
2-4GB Generic Ram
would run games fast? half life 2 engine in 100+ fps @ 1280x960 in high detail?
