SInce no one actually answered the question, I think I will. If you are going to be playing games only, then get the AMD one. But if you do gaming and audio and video work, go with the Intel one. But really man, D A M N. You rich. You could have someone build, or you could build it ur self for soooo much less than what your paying.

I like the 2nd one better, because it is PCI Express, and DDR533, which means the FSB is probably ready to be OCed to 1066mhz

Only build it yourself if you like building computers or don't have enough cash - which your parents abviously do.

You should definitely go with the second system, that DDR2 533MHz is just about the slowest and might I add, latest, DDR2 memory available; but they are just starting to warm up. With PCI-X 16 it has double the bandwidth compared to standard AGPx8, and although there are no graphics cards that currently use such a massive amount of bandwidth, it definitely keeps your options open for future upgrades - PCI-X16 is going to be around for a long time.

But do us all a favor and play Doom 3 on the highest graphics and tell us how it runs, maybe a few screenies

If your interested in the best they have to offer why aren't you considering the ALX systems they offer..there top of the line. Also of not I understand that Alienware will be offering one of the first commercial systems with the dual pci-express graphics card set ups...............ohh la la
