8800gts G92 SLI power question

Theres no doubt that it will bottleneck....

but the GPU matters more in terms of you playing a game than a CPU will

A High End CPU vs a Low End CPU won't determine if you can play a game smoothly, but a high end vs Low end GPU will, I think Tom's had a really well written article about this

Well he could try to overclock his CPU somewhat, it can probably go to 3.0ghz

he could get a substantial increase, depending on the resolution. now, i paid 350 for my gts, so if i bought one for 170, thats 50% of what i originally paid for the first one, and it would result in close to a 50% increasse with my resolution. which would help me sleep better at night, lol. (but my 5000 will bottleneck two of them).
and yes, his cpu will work fine with a single gtx, but it will bottleneck SLI gts'.
quite a bit actually, even oc'd to 3.2ish. you will still see framerate increases, but not as much as you'd like...or if you had say an e8500 running at 4ghz.

yes cz ur cpu will bottle neck i think

your gonna have to get another cpu eventually. if you can afford it, i'd get the 2nd gts. also will save you the hassle of selling your current one.
