Quick Question (GPU's)

Ive got some money. only enough for some cheap stuff, ive found some prices and heres what i could get

1x 256mb ATI HD 3850 (Dx10) (180$)

or

1x 512mb 8600GT (Dx10) (110$)

or

1x 512mb 9600GT (dx10) (185$)

or

1x 512mb 8800GT (dx10) (245$)

My prices are the cheapest ive found, which were on ebay since im australian i cant use newegg like everyone


Which would be better? im assuming the 8800gt. Thanks

The 8600GT is a piece of poo. The 3850 will own it. Even then those prices are high. You could shop here: MSY Technology Pty

And from there you can get a 512mb 9600GT for $150. The 9600Gt is alot better than that 8600GT.

9600GT is better than the 3850 and will give you noticeable extra performance over the 3850.

Actually now ive scraped up an extra 50$ which allows me to buy an 8800GT (512mb) now. This is by far better than the other 2 right?

Wow, that Netplus site is great.. thats by far the cheapest ive seen in adelaide. 4gb ram for 114$ aud.. thats awesome. Ill be sure to use that.

1 last question, i think i may have the money to get a HD 3870.. if i did, whats better

ATI HD 3870 512mb or Nvidia 8800GT 512mb?
