CNC With Floppy....Can I update to use USB?

Where i work we are using cnc perforating machines that store all of the programs on a floppy disk using a drive attached to the machine. Is it possible to buy or modify a device so that i can use usb storage instead of the floppy disks, I have seen devices to make floppy drives usb powerd but not able to find an ide usb drive. Any help would be appreciated as the floppy drives are starting to fail and we are losing programs quite rapidly. I know the obvious answer would be to install a new floppy drive but as all our new computers dont come with one and its an outdated media i dont see much point unless i have to.

Hi jason, you can just go out an buy some USB floppy drives an attach them to the machines with the failing floppy drives.
