Im currently working on a new build and, Im wondering which Processor to choose from. A processor that is good for overclocking and which one best fits my motherboard.

The motherboard i currently ordered is the
"EVGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 750i FTW SLI ATX"

These are 2 Processors that i found and think they might be good for
OC but dont know if there suitable for my MotherBoard!

Newegg.com - Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz 2 x 4MB L2 Cache LGA 775 Quad-Core Processor - CPUs / Processors
&
Newegg.com - AMD Phenom 9850 BLACK EDITION 2.5GHz 4 x 512KB L2 Cache 2MB L3 Cache Socket AM2+ 125W Quad-Core Processor - CPUs / Processors

If anyone has any other recommendations please help me out!

Imo the q6600 is better anyways. (benchys show that as well) ;)

If you want to use an AMD processor, sadly you have to use an AMD board.

few things. First off, a phenom is definately not compatible. AMD vs INTEL. The 750i is lga775, while the phenom is am2+

also, the quads outperform the phenoms anyway. Get the q6600

I honestly don't think their is a big enough diff anyways.

I doubt you can show me any game that currently won't get destroyed by either of these cpus. (even crysis)

Imo cpus seem to be tons ahead of gpus atm.

Actually, I think GPU's are ahead of CPU's.

but games like Crysis tax the GPU so much compared to the CPU, that it is the GPU that slows it down most of the time.
