Im selling soem hi-fi kit, and my old 8800GTS 320mb for however much there worth (£50 ?)

Anyway, lets say i end up with £200. What graphics card do you reccomend ?

rest of my specs are:

E6850@3ghz
2GB Ram
530W Type-M Hiper PSU
P35C-DS3R

Any other ideas welcome, buying so i can play Age of Conan better when it comes out, maybe a few other high-spec games.

Monitor is 22" 1650x1080.

Surely a EVGA 9800GTX KO is better than 512mb 8800GTS :\ ?

My mobo doesn't support SLI.

get 8800GTS 512Mb

9800GTX is just an overclock of 8800GTS 512Mb

not worth the extra cash

it is, but you could overclock a 9800gtx reference to that speed, or you could get an 8800gts g92 512mb to that speed relatively easily (but the 9800gtx is a killer OC'er its already at 2200mhz Memory, and its got loads of headroom)

hmm. That appears to be fairly true. I just had a quick look gets about 5fps more.

But the 3870X2 1GB Is nearly allways top. I'll have a quick look at that, or does it need more than my PSU will supply ?

You're PSU is enough, HD3870X2 is the best bang for the buck Dual GPU Card out now (theres 9800gx2, but its only slightly faster and its a lot more pricey)

But remember this about the card though: if the came supports Crossfire or Dual GPU cards it performs really well, if not , or is a Optimized for nVidia Game (like Crysis) it runs like an HD3870 (which is good, but there are better cards)

Hmm.. that sucks. Now i have to go hunting to find wether its 'made for nVidia' and whether it supports dual GPU. It best do.

GOD DAM YOU NVIDIA ! ! ! How anoying.

Will it really perform that much worse than a nvidia card ?

Will it still outperform my 8800 320mb by a fair amount ?
