PowerISO, et al, won't work in Vista?

I'm new to Vista. Since I've gotten it (about a week ago) I've put everything onto Vista that I used to use on XP. Everything works fine except all the programs like PowerIso, Daemon Tools, etc. I mount image files but nothing happens. I'm thinking there must be some option I have to check, but like I said, I'm new to Vista and wouldn't know where to look. There's only one user on this computer so I'm thinking it shouldn't be an 'administrator' issue.

I should clarify one more thing. PowerISO will extract an image file but it won't mount it.

Any advice?

You need Daemon Tools 4.06 or higher to work on VIsta. SO download the latest version.

You will also need the most current version of PowerISO. I know it works as i have used it on my Vista install. ALong with MagicISO and ISOBuster. I also have Alcohol120% that works on Vista.

Get updated versions of the software. Can not use the same ones that you used on XP.
