Need help with parts on a custom rig

That mobo supports 64 bit Vista right? I can't find anywhere where it says...and I read to make sure that it does otherwise you'll get random reboots and whatnot.

Also, whats the difference between OEM Vista and retail Vista?

any os can work with any motherboard....there would never be any compatibility issues...

Ya only worry you would have is that the CPU isn't 64bit, and pretty much any Athlon64 + and P4 2.0ghz + can do it

Another question..will the CPU or motherboard require me to purchase any cooling devices? Also, this is my first build in my life and I hear a lot about thermal paste, specifically Arctic Silver 5. How does that work? I'm really worried cause I don't wanna just fire this thing up and have it fry.
