i need a better sound card, i cant stand mine anymore! Poor, poor drivers. My computer is down for now, but im gonna try to get my HDD replaced; Vista isnt installing correctly, everything like the Sidebar, Internet Explorer, programs, etc keeps closing itself.
anyhow, when i updated my graphics driver to 8.1 back then, my Creative card stopped working. The jacks were not recognized, only front panel, i mean this is rediculous. When it does work, it's only for a short amount of time.
i just read a good review of this product linked above n it did well in tests, according to hothardware:

anyone have experience with this card? I have 2x512mb DDR2 800 RAM n a DVD SATA drive ready to be ordered, im upgrading some parts n i want to upgrade my crappy sound card too. I'm having probably another garage sale again this Saturday so we can bring in more money; ill try to sell my card if we have another, we made over $900 last Saturday!
