Quick HDD question: Which 750gb drive?

Go with the Barracuda 7200.11. It's $10 more than the SAMSUNG, but it's got a great 5 year warranty and are very fast hard drives. The WD Caviar at its 16mb cache doesn't even compete with the Seagate.

I don't know how it compares to the Seagate but I have the Samsung and I think its a quiet drive. So I would say get the Seagate or the Samsung.

Seagate is probably the quietest choice. im not sure about the samsung. but i know for sure that seagate is extremely quiet and fast.

The Samsung. There are tests where it's beaten slightly in access time but does better in throughput. So it performs a bit better.

Samsung is probably the Quietest of them all, the Seagate is probably the fastest (probably with the Western Digital and the Samsung trailing a bit)
