if you want to get a Q6700 you can. In my list it is a Q6600 Retail but dont get a retail one get an OEM. Also if your missing a mouse, get a Logitech G5. I added a Aftermarket heatsink since u were missing from ur wishlist. ask any question. if you want a cheaper rig i can lower it a bit (there a lot of hardware that i can lower to get u a cheaper rig). If you want a water cooling kit, ask aspire. the os is for 1 use only. maybe someone can help you on the heat sink i just randomly picked one.

drop to a 750i FTW (if thats really a drop)

maybe a 650tx?

Looks good.. don't get the 750i Asus P5N-D, get the FTW for a little more

What about a CPU Cooler?

Wow, thanks for all the help, everyone. This build looks awesome and saves me so much money.

I've got a few questions, though.

1. Any foreseeable problems with using the Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail instead?

2. Will the 8800 GT work with the rest of the DDR2 stuff? I'm not completely sure how all that compatibility works.

3. The memory you guys suggested is out of stock for now. But this memory is cheaper and exactly the same except for Timing and Voltage. What difference does that make and would I be okay going with the cheaper memory?

4. Is a sound card necessary? If so, how about the ASUS Xonar DX 7.1 Channels PCI Express Interface Sound Card - Retail?

1. Antec 900, isn't so great, maybe check out the NZXT Tempest
2. ya it will work, just because your board supports DDR2 and that the Video Card is GDDR3 that doesn't mean it won't work, it will work as long as you got a PCI-e slot
3. that RAM is worse, wait for the other RAM to stock back in
4. Sound on mobo's have really improved in the last half decade, unless you are a definite audio phile you probably won't need the Xonar Card

1. I think Full-Tower are better. If you want a bigger Antec 900 how about this one
Newegg.com - Antec Twelve Hundred Black ATX Full Tower Computer Case - Computer Cases

2. yes it will work.

3. Newegg.com - G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory

4. like vernong said it isnt neccesary. i prefer using the money on saving for upgrading in the future or speding it on other parts
