I'm looking for a new 80mm hard drive fan, because for some reason, my current one is unbearably loud for the first ~20 minutes of uptime on my system.
What I want most is quiet, and because my hard drives have ran at 40 +/- 5 celsius for three years I don't see how much worse they can get. This is with stock cooling.
But is 27.8 CFM enough for two hard drives? How about five? This fan is only 21 db, so its what I'm considering, in addition to a fan dampener.

(4 fan set, I'm only using one for my hard drives however)
Dampener: Newegg.com - VANTEC VDK-80 80MM Fan Vibration Dampener Kits - Case Accessories
Will my hard drives overheat with this stuff/is this a good idea to use this?
