hey watsup guys... been checking these forums as a guest alot, and thought i should register

I have around $800-$900 (Screen not included) laying around and would like to build my first computer. I am a gamer so i would like a gaming computer, that could handle games such as Half Life 2, Doom 3, Farcry, Battlefield 2 etc on high settings. People told me to get a MoBo that has an Nforce 3 250 chipset, and an athlon 64 3000+ processor. So what are your suggestions?

Would you mind answering these questions and I'll try to help as much as I can?

-This is only for the computer right, no monitor, speakers, keyboard, mouse, etc.?
-Do you want one or two CD/DVD burner drives?
-What would be the absolute highest price you'd be willing to pay?

A friend of mine ordered that case and psu that was suggested:

and there is also a SATA harddrive on the list. The PSU to that case did not come with the plug for it, so he had to simply buy a 10 dollar addapter. If you are as anxous as I am when I get a PC to build, you probably want to order that adapter with the PC.
