lol ste.
i've been watching this thread, and i really don't have anything to add.
this is a great hardware forum, but like ste said, once the parts are listed, thats about it man.
Once the parts are listed, that's when you begin analysing. Is this component the best for the money? Is this component compatible with that component? etc., etc. -- That's what I'm trying to get to.

The point that were trying to get to is, that a crappy power supply = more money spent down the road. If you want to lose the entire system just because you decided to be cheap, go right ahead.

A quality power supply can last years...its well worth it.

Hes trying to build the cheapest build possible.

Anyway for the cheap i recommend what i have at the moment 430w thermaltake xp550. But what you have with your current build is fine, but has a chance of causing problems because of the quality.

Excellent. Thanks Ste and Puddle Jumper. (Shame about the price though :( lol - I will add it to the list)

Celticsfan, Sorry, but it has to come from eBuyer.
