Wich part(s) of my computer can be damaged by overclocking the CPU?
Only the CPU itself or the mainboard too?

Thanks

Yeah, I think that by overclockin the CPU, you push it beyond it's safest and fastest speed, and therefore it may "die" earlier.

definitely the cpu and the ram and if youre ocing the graphics card then that also, but im not sure if the motherboard can be damaged also.

oh theres also something called an src and i dont know what it is but on my bios it allows me to oc it but with a disclaimer sayin that doing it could result in damage to any sata devices connected

Your ZIF (zero-insertion-force) socket can definitely be damaged by heat, I believe it takes a lot more heat than the average overclocker produces when tweaking their CPU speed.

If you fry your CPU then your ZIF socket has a chance of being damaged also.
