help me become cheaper

if you look at my sig, im planning a really awesome rig . . .

the only thing is is that its a few $ over my budget, so does anyone know what i can do to keep the same performance, yet pay a little less?

edit - i want an lcd, not a crt

You could shave off 300 bucks by going from a 20.1" to a 19", which would be quite a bit.

EDIT: 19" is still freaking huge and enough to make everyone jealous

The WD Raptor is pretty expensive, running around 160 bucks. Instead of a Raptor and an SATA you could just get 2 SATA's, unless you really want that speed.
