Need help in picking out a new GPU setup..

That is a lot of help..I went with 850w PSU...and that q6600 with SLI 8800gt

total system price now is little over 2k

not bad..leaves me some room for a laptop for classes

get a q6600 and stick with a PSU with like 50-60 amps on the 12V rail....


that build is total overkill. for the same performance you could build it for like $1800 probably


EDIT: get a 750i instead of the 780i....same thing you just can't tri SLI with the 750

I could probably build my own computer..but I would have to do it as a learn as you go thing..I will probably take apart my old one and learn from that..but for now I would not like to mess up something when it comes with such a fine price tag =P
