They need to fix the cruddy drivers....the cards have always been good on paper specs wise, but they just cant get the right drivers out.

Yep, they need to offer better non windows support. ATi Have little or no linux support it would be a nice idea for them to open up there is a very sizable user base out there if they offerd more linux support.
