my main question would be where do i need to connect the wires from my power supply to my 780i motherboard/rest of hardware.

there is also a few cables from my case, that i am unsure where to put.

i imagine he has read the manual...

unfortunately i can't help with this but Ste couldn't you maybe walk him through it a little more or something?

Take the 24 pin connector from PSU and put it in the 24 pin hole on the MOBO

Then by the looks of mobo pics there should be a 8pin slot close to the CPU socket , plug an 8pin power connector from PSU here.

plug up the HD and CD drive to the PSU...blah blah..

I haven't put together a computer with newer parts, so I'm not to sure what all you need to plug up. Sorry, lol..I tried though :p

And as others said, would be best to read the mobo booklet

Yes...read the mobo manual...make sure you get two 6 pin connectors from the power supply to that video card....I have the same power supply and it does have two 6 pin connectors on it.

now if your concerned about the case plugs like the HDLED, PWLED, RSLED, etc etc... best to read the manuals cuz with the comps ive built they cab be different from mobo to case... but yea everything else is pretty much summed up... plug and play
