Suggestions for new laptop

Hi guys, next week I am going to buy a new laptop for gaming and school.

I would just like your suggestions. I was looking at these two:

Which one do you think is the better buy?

If there are any others you think I should consider, please let me know. My price range is around $1,000, no more than $1,050.

Personaly i like the Acer. But you do know these thigns have tax and delivery right.

Since they are both the same thing, just about, why not take the Asus. The only thing i see different is hte PCU. A T5550 compared to a T8100. So i fyou fancy the extra 0.27GHz go for the Acer.

Asus is one of the best builds in the game right now. Acer...not so much. It's not even a contest for me--Asus hands down.
