Is 500W PSU enought for....

Can anyone tell me if my CPU overclocking might be causing this?

I has it set on "Auto profile for 15% overclock in the bios" NOT FOR THE GFX card but for my CPU.

oc'ing it shouldnt make that much of a difference, i had my old PD 945 at 4Ghz with 2 8800Gts 320s, with only 44A total power and my system was still stable. unless u are overvolting ur cpu, the total power draw shouldnt be much higher than an extra few watts.

Well I went and returned the GFX card and picked up another 1 just to see if it would make a difference.

The videocard I got is "Superclocked" so I don't know if that might be causing it too.

Also my PSU for GFX card rail is 17amp.

On the back on the gfx card box it says
"400W Power supply with a minimum of 26 amps on the +12 vol rail."

Like i said earlier, that assumes 26A for the entire system. My guess is that you have 2 17A rails.

Antec psu's are top notch and can feed plenty power...you have two 17a rails so you have 500 watts with 34 amps.

Well I turned off my CPU overclock and I haven't had problems since. So OC my CPU was the problem I guess?

It was most likely that your overclock wasnt stable.

Yeah since i've turned off my CPU overclock. I haven't had problems since.
