Crucial Ballistix

TBH a few months ago Ballistix were great because the 5300s were so cheap, and could be overclocked so much. However, they tend to die after 8-10 months and with ram prices the way they are now I would switch to something else as I have. (OCZ 8500 SLI)

not to mention the reports recently of the newer chips not clocking as well.

well thats a darned good deal. Just try not to put more than about 2.1v through them as that seems to be the tipping point as far as reliability is concerned.

i need a new set or to update my bios, my mobo keeps rejecting them, and i have to turn the comp of and unplug it for a minimum of 24 hours before itl boot again.

i been pushin 2.2v through mine for a good 8 months or so now. i wonder how much longer they'll last :S seem to be doin okay though. I got that spotcool thing for em but i ended up pointing it at my video card instead hahahaha

mine work like a charm, too bad i cant use my computer right now, it's been over a month now since the last time i used my computer.
