Graphics Glitch - Help please.

Hello, firstly I'd like to apologize if this isn't the appropriate place for this thread.

I have been experiencing this graphics glitch for some time now.
This is an example of a game being affected:

This glitch occurs often on this game and until recently only occurred rarely with other games. It seems to be caused by Alt-Tab and sometimes even changing maps inside the game (E.g going through a portal).
The only way it is restored to normality is when I restart, and it affects all games till then.

Anyone have a solution?

Do you have updated drivers? What are you card's temps? What card do you even have?

Is the card overheating? Dusty? Drivers all up to date?

I have the Nvidia GeForce 6600 GT.
And yes I believe I have updated drivers.
Temps? Sorry I'm not really experienced with this stuff.

Google for ATITool, install it, and run it. What are you temps when you open it up? And check what they are while you're playing the game.
