Is DDR3 really worth it?

I remember my 939 too! I remember paying over $100 for a 1gig of some OCZ's.

I'm curious to see what's going to become the next DDR2-800.

We had DDR 400, DDR2 800, so will DDR3-1600 become the "standard" or "norm" and DDR3-2000 be for extreme overclocking? Or will DDR3-2000 become the standard?

i paid $170 for 1 gig of ddr ram for the system im using right now, that was 3/3.5 years ago...man i can't wait for my new build to be finished.

I would say ddr3 1600 will be the norm. 1333 just really isn't worth it.
