Ok, so this may be a bit left field, almost seems to simple to work....
I've been having issued getting XP to install on my SATA HD after a clean format, with a bunch of IDEs lying around i've sort of shelved the SATA HD for the past few weeks as school, work and new baby have taken my attention...just wondering if a quick SATA to IDE converter would work for the initial XP install at which point I unplug it and go over to the SATA connection on the mobo? Is this too good to be true?
