ok well me and my son have just bought a new computer and im not and expert with them....he made his name computer adminastrator and im stuck with limited.. i dont know his password so im having trouble making myself adminastrator...my friend said that theres a way to acess dos mode as soon as ur starting the computer and said to come here and post to seek help...well my question is how do i enter dos mode and when im in it what do i type in to make myself adminastrator again

you'd goto Start>Run> and type cmd

I don't know the command to make you administrator, but why don't you ask your son for the password? Also, I've never tried as a limited user but can you just create another account with Admin rights?

Oh I didn't think so. Well, my solution to you is - He is your son, can't you force him to give you the password or at least make him give you admin rights?
