Lemme know your opinion.. Also everything would be running on stock, gaming would be light if at all and Adobe Photoshop CS2 would be my favorite task :happy:
 
If you aren't really doing any gaming then don't get a 9600GT. That's too high-end for what you need. Just get an 8500 or something along that line.

And why 3GB of memory you could just get 2 sets of 2GB instead. Other than that looks good.
 
the 9600 is fine for what you're doing, also yeah i would say either get 2gb or get a second set of the 2gb you have for 4gb.
 
2GB is fine for that. If you're going to be multitasking 3DSMax, Crysis, and Photoshop at the same time then you should upgrade. Other than that stay with 2GB and you can always buy more later. RAM is the easiest thing to install in your motherboard.
