ok if you don't want to wait for the 9900's get a 9800gtx.
If you are sticking with a single card solution get a corsair 520hx
2gb crucial ram (timings of 4-4-4-12)
 
looks good to me theres nothing but a couple games that will test that system or a system with a similar configuration. Overclocking Benchmarking you have loads to get stuck in to, lots of potential :)
 
oh, i forgot mobo...well if your not going to go sli there really isn't a reason to get an nvidea chipset so id say my original choice, a p5k)
 
ok well if you are going to wait until the new series comes out then def get the 9900gtx. Yes 2 9600gt's are better then one 9800gtx.
 
it only works for eVGA cards, and what happens is that first, you buy an eVGA card, register it on their site, and within 90 days you can step up to a better card, and just have to pay the price difference, but you need to keep your old receipt
