As I once said and still say... I have always wanted to take the oldest case I can find and I mean the oldest.. and slap the most powerful equipment I can find in there and go to a lan party, lmao Like the items in my sig in one of those really old all solid metal windows 95 cases or something... That would P00n!

I am serious in this and I will eventually give you guys a picture of my "Lan Monster"! once I E-Bay the case, lol

As long as you have good airflow it doesn't matter... I have an old Compaq case and I just leave the side cover off all the time... Still working on getting the rest of the items for my "Project-X" .. Can't wait until my dirtbike sells to finish it up.

I would not buy all new high end hardware and stick it into a cruddy case...the case is just as important as the rest of the components. Its also one of the cheapest as well. You can get a nice, quality case for $50 and up.

Good luck with that build. remember to keep good airflow, the psu's listed should get you bye, but if you are getting good equippment, I'd shoot for a hiper or take a look at this....
