New hard drive

is it hard to install a new hard drive the one i have at the minute is only like 50gb and i want to buy a 500gb one think my laptop can handle it? is it worth it??

It should very easy to install a new harddrive in a laptop, you usually can open a port on the bottom to access it. Just make sure you get a SATA notebook harddrive, so it will actually fit in your computer. I don't think notebook drives are up to 500GB yet, at least not very affordably.
