Audio Drive Troubleshooting in DG33TL mobo--NEED A HELP

Hi .. All

I got my system updated last week. All are working fine except Audio. I am unable to install the audio drive . I tried to install a updated driver but no luck. So requesting you guys to Please suggest some ideas to HELP ME !! and make my system heard.

Already updated BIOS, and ve the latest Drivers But not able to get my Audio Drive functioned.. Am I missing something .. ??

My sys Config is...

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600@ 2.4 GHz
Intel DG33TL
2 GB DDR 800MHz Transdent RAM
250 GB SATA Segeat
600 Watt Cooler Master SMPS
XFX NVIDIA 8600 GT 512 MB

I am running Windows Vista Ultimate.

If the onboard audio chip hasn't failed the one thing you could try would be right clicking on the item shown for the audio itself in the device manager under "Sound, Video, and Game controllers".

At that time you would select the uninstall option or download a driver remover to see the present driver set removed. Once done you could simply install the audio from the software cd that comes with the main board. That will remove the wrong version if that is what was seen there.

The worst of course is having the audio chip on the board itself simply quit on you. Then you would need a separate card installed for sound.
