Is XFX a good company?

It definately worked out in my favor to stepup....both times i have done it. Go figure. I paid 359 each for 2 GTS512s back in december. I just stepped both of them up and got....wait for it....359 DOLLARS CREDIT TOWARDS THE GX2!!! Good luck trying to sell a GTS512 and pick up a GX2 for the paltry sum of 250 dollars extra.

I SEE U!

Regardless of whether you choose BFG, XFX or EVGA for your 780i board, the only thing distinguishing them is the warranties and customer service support provided by the distributing company.

All 780i boards based on the reference design are manufactured by Foxconn.

MSI and Asus are exceptions, they make their own layouts and will vary in features. DFI has made Nvidia chipset boards in the past with their own layouts and whatnot, but I haven't heard much about a 780i or 790i board as of yet from them.

SO... if you're going with the reference design, then it wouldn't make much of a difference. I like XFX, good support. I've only had good experience with them.

Can someone tell me what the "OP" is? They talk about it in like every post.....
