Nah... don't skimp out... get a 9800gx2 at least

Has anyone found a good reason to even get the new 9800 GX2 video card? From the specs and applications available, it looks to be way overkill for the most part.

The only reason I see, is to play Crysis, which is unacceptable for the price you have to pay.

And the hardcore enthusiasts who just want bleeding edge for the moment.

I am getting two 9800gx2 cards.. I think they are a good unique point to jump in at.. and they look sweeeet. Plus... when would you ever need to upgrade? When Heil freezes over?

It's unbelievalbe how these new cards look. So heavy-looking. It looks like a small block refrigerator or something like that. I'm still using a 7800GT and it's large, but the cooler is primitive (smaller heatsink and fan)
