ballistix chip question

i know that the ddr800 ones are bad now but if i were to get the 1066 ones do they also have the crappy chips in them???

there not bad but just not as good as the use to be

there is no diference in performence between the new and the old, the chips are just on one side which means they are using larger ram chips it should output the same heat its not like the ysqueezed more chips onto one side lol, technically if u think about it the new ones should be better.

NosBoost got his which I think were double sided and he can run 1050 MHZ at 5-5-5-15 2 (maybe 1) or something of the sort...

I couldn't even reach 925 on 5-5-5-15 3 with my sticks... (single sided)

RMA'ed them for a refund

but even with the D9, the sticks still suck at oc'ing... (not suck, but aren't up to par with the normal ballistix)

and yes I had tracers too

The new chips are 78nm and they seem to oc good on low voltage.

that is odd, i doubt crucial would lower there part performence on purpose.
