What video card should I buy?

In reference to the graph of power usage at load of a single 9800gx2 it says the entire SYSTEM draws 401W. 12Vx30A = 360 watts

So unless your cpu only draw 41 amps I'M pretty sure it doesnt.

i have dial up, the power graph never loaded for me, and u don't have to be a **** about it...

They use a stock x6800 in that review....which draws a max of 75 watts at full load.

So if the entire system draws 492...assuming the PSU is 85% efficient at this amount of load...

GFX = 492 - CPU - psu efficiency loss - mobo - other shizzle such as drives/fans

GFX = 492 - 75 - 74 - 40 - 40

GFX = 258watts

That's a very rough approximation but it sounds about right about in the ballpark, it's most likely 20 or so watts lower than that.

i like the looks of the 9800gtx faster then an ultra in most gamees, will probably oc like a monster and can be had for like 340$.
