well thats not really worth it then (to get the true) although i can't find the rifle at the normal stores i shop...but I'll stop getting off topic

It is better but its a difference of something like 1C cooler and $20 more expensive.

yep, its like getting a AF7 over the Zalman CNPS9500, the Zalman is better but its not worth paying an extra $20 for it when the AF7 is 2 degrees hotter

Hello again. Finally just ordered my parts. Thanks for all the help you all have given me over the months. The list is below, let me know what you think. I'll get some pictures too if you want any.

Also, the only thing I need is a video card which i'll order in another week or so. I'll be using an old one until then. I don't want a gtx200/280. So, what would be the Next Best video card that is evag nvidia? I'm thinking about the 9800 gx2, but I don't know. Note I do have an SLI board.

Ok, here is the list, finally...

Thanks again for all the help and video card suggestions.

nice choice on the case. quality case there ;) also the psu is overkill. board is a bit overkill for you too. mx-2 paste is better. good choice on the hsf and fan. and for a gfx card, i would recommend either sli 8800gt, sli'd 8800gts (maybe even sli 9600gt) or sli 9800gtx. the 9600gt would be the cheapest solution, but good. the gt's are mid level of this group, but quality and the second cheapest. the sli gts i think are the most expensive, just depends on where you find them. and the 9800gtx's at 215(ish) a piece are expensive, but i would say they're well worth it.

Thanks, I like the case too. So many people saying whats good and bad about paste, oh well. Thanks for the suggestions on the video cards. After reading what you posted, im still not sure what the next best thing to a gtx200/280 is (in the evag nvidia group), sli'ed or not? I know the power supply is more than I need, for now, but it never hurts to have more than not enough. Plus it wasnt that much more.

true. and problem with SLI is a lot of games don't like it, and in some cases your FPS will actually drop with SLI enabled over just a single card. In that respect I would suggest either getting a gtx280 (600 bones though) or the 4850/4870 cards are both extremely stellar for the price point.

Thanks. Too me the gtx280 is still too much for what it delivers. I know that ati card series is good, but im one of those that will be sticking with evga nvidia. Still don't know which one(s) to get. SLI'ing or not doesn't matter to me right now. As always, just nice to have that option, which is why I got the 780i. You said games don't get along well with the 9800gx2, right? So would a 9800gtx be the next best choice, maybe sli another later?
