u can try resetting your cmos...even though i dont think that shud do it...but why not try

was this ever fixed?

you turned off usb functionality in bios and not windows?

if not fixed, you may need the cmos battery out AND jumper setting thing

Get a couple USB to PS/2 converters, or even a spare PS/2 mouse/kb (borrow your parents' mouse/kb if they have PS/2 hookups). Hook 'em up that way, and see if you can enable it in the device manager within windows, or reinstall the USB drivers all-together.
