whats up tech forums!!

I was wondering which video card is better in general?
the 9600xt 256Mb has more ram than the 9800 but the 9800 has
256bits. Im talkin about a regular 9800 128MB VS 9600XT 256MB

9800 support 256bits memory interface, 8pipelines, smartshader2.1,smoothvision2.1,fullstream

In general, 9800 will performance well than 9600XT althought your see from the spec 9800 is lower than 9600XT.
But the graphic that come out from 9800 must outcome 9600XT.

A 9600XT will outperform a normal 9800 graphics card in my opinion, I haven't actually seen any reviews on it.

I have to say, its not very often you see people buying a regular card like a 9800 or 9600. People mostly go for Pro or XT - never SE please :)

I had a look into the 9800, and I have found that ATI say there is no such thing:

RADEON™ 9800 technology is available in four product configurations built by ATI: RADEON™ 9800 XT, RADEON™ 9800 PRO 256MB, RADEON™ 9800 PRO 128MB and RADEON™ 9800 128MB.

~All In Wonder = Card with TV tuner, Expensive.
~SE = Special Edition; also known as sucky edition. Cheap to afford. Price/performance is low.
~None = Regular series card. Runs at normal condition.
~Pro = Optimized for performance, a bit pricey, represents it's series.
~XT = Overclocked, expensive compared to Pro. Only availiable to the 9600, 9800, and X800 series.
~XT PE = Overclocked even more, in limited quantities. Only availiable to the X800 series.
