Ste Do not Stare at my Avatar Messages 9,578 Location Upon Gleaning Infinity Mar 30, 2008 #14 It is indeed a nice board, and it will overclock just as well as the other motherboards you posted.
Drizzt Fully Optimized Messages 3,187 Location Somewhere inbetween FL and NY Mar 30, 2008 #15 btw, the dfi x38 is cheaper then the quad gt by a few bucks. I think you mean the LT... i was going to get that originally but they went out of stock on newegg and it was kind of expensive. Ste said: It is indeed a nice board, and it will overclock just as well as the other motherboards you posted. Click to expand... Do you think it is a step above the DFI board? **** double post... somehow i saw Ste's post before mine. my badz

Ste Do not Stare at my Avatar Messages 9,578 Location Upon Gleaning Infinity Mar 30, 2008 #16 I really couldn't tell you. I haven't seen any head to head reviews of the quad gt vs the DFI's you posted. I think you will be satisfied with any of the x38 boards linked in this thread. Here are some reviews for the quad gt though Abit IX38 QuadGT Review - hosted by Neoseeker Abit IX38 Quad GT Review - Overclockers Club

Drizzt Fully Optimized Messages 3,187 Location Somewhere inbetween FL and NY Mar 31, 2008 #19 What about this one? Newegg.com - ASUS P5E LGA 775 Intel X38 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail I hear it has better cooling features,

gurusan Golden Master Messages 6,562 Location Portland, OR Mar 31, 2008 #20 That's the mobo I have and it's definitely a very good one. I know of many people hitting over 500-550fsb on them. And yeah, the cooling is pretty good as long as you have good airflow in your case.
