Oh, and is it relevant to x32/x64?

Chances are it's 32bit....

Start>Right click on Computer>Properties. It will bring up the system properties and that will tell you if it is 32 Bit or 64 Bit.

It should be available right thru the Windows update. If not he will have a driver conflict and it will be nothing but trouble. So install at your own risk if it is not on the Windows Update screen.
