290 for an 8800gtx is a nice price.. i can't say no.. if he still has it by friday.. its as good as mine.. xfx XXX edition 621mhz core clock standard... thats 8800 ultra level on a gtx!!! I WANT

The 8600gt is considerably more impressive than the 512... I had a 512, moved up - and don't regret it.

The case with 8800GT's isn't the same with 8600GT's.

well a gts is still cheaper than a gtx and when oc...it is better than the gtx.
also remember that its smaller and cools better.

better cards??? lol only the 8800 ultra and 9800gx2... the 8800gtx is better than the 8800gts 512mb and 9800gtx in 1920x1200 gaming

which is what i'm doing, and crysis EATS UP more than 512mb when playing at this res... so its needed... funny how i'm going to go back to SLi'd 8800gtx's.. lol just had those about 2 months ago

9800gtx is just an 8800gts 512mb with a higher clock..

and as far as i can remember.. 8800gtx(ultra in this case, as its the same speed) beats the 8800gts in high res gaming

well any of these upgrades sound good to me...its just that if u want to like future proof your self you could start off with the gtx X2...and i know u got the money so theres nothing to worry bout.
