blu-ray cd rom question

I have a couple of question

1. Will a bluray cd rom be as purty as a bluray player

2. What kind of monitor do I buy to get the full effect of my bluray cd rom drive

3. How will I go about hookin my bluray cd rom to my hd 42 inch lcd tv and when I do, will it perform the same as if I had a bluray player

Don't think you can as it has a different interface. What you could do is hook your tv to the computer as a monitor so you can watch blu-ray

(#2) 24" monitor or higher
(#3) DVI to HDMI cable if u have an HDMI on your lcd tv or DVI to Component video adapter, which came with my video card

to clarify a little. make sure your monitor is high res ( 1920x1200 +)
Try to hook up your 42" via HDMI to DVI cable as mentioned above and hopefully its a 1080P TV. If not you see a huge improvement over regular DVD's.
