I'm not posting my score to be recorded yet, just to show what I've noticed with running SLI vs not with my 9600GT's in 3DMark 06 under Vista 64-bit.

With my Q6600 @ stock speed and memory @ stock timings and speed (4-4-4-12, DDR2 800)

Non-SLI- 10,516
SLI- 12,528

Just a bit over 2,000 more 3Dmarks. I should be hitting a good amount more once I get my WC kit this week and OC my proc, ram, and video cards.

WOA! You really think so? That high? Wow, I was thinking more along the lines of 15 or so. I'd be stoked if I can get that high. I'll make it a point to get my WC loop set up by thursday night.

4.0ghz run w/ your cards oc'd 16-17k sounds right

I get 17000+ with a 3.6GHz clocked Q6600 and the cards at 744/1020. This was just a quick see if it worked run. The cards have more in them.

Would a 4ghz run be a suicide run? I wonder what I could get with a suicide run on the quad and vid cards. That'll be fun.

Oh, I picked up the water cooling stuff today, I'll have my loop installed and ready to go between tonight at thursday afternoon, depends on when I have time.

A suicide run just means something that you can only get stable enough to run the bench.

Would 4ghz most likely be a suicide run, or would 4ghz be reaslistic to run 24/7 with h20?

well jseber had his cpu at 4.7ghz (phase)
