And any1 know the type of panel the ultrasharp 2408WFP dell is?

They're all "TFT". The difference is TN, MVA, IPS. TN is the cheapest to manufacture, has the crappiest colors but fastest response time. IPS has the best colors, costs the most but is usually the slowest. MVA is the middle ground. The colors are almost as good as IPS, the speed is almost as good as TN and the prices arent bad if you look around for them.

all i know is the dell monitors are usually low end samsungs. unless your speding the 600$ on the 24 inch then itl be a high end samsung.
