I have this PSU Newegg.com - LOGISYS Computer PS550AC ATX12V 550Watts Power Supply 100 - 127V/200 - 240V CE, FCC, CB - Retail
and I finally have enough money for a new GPU do you think my PSU could handle this one Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE 100225L Radeon HD 3870 512MB 256-bit GDDR4 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Retail
with that card would I see a big improvement over my 1900GT? Is there anything better for the same amount? Also it says PCI-E 2.0... What is that? obviously I haven't been saying up to date like I usually do lol.

yeah you should be fine with that psu. also do you have a pcie slot on your board? i noticed you're using ddr and usually ddr means agp, but i could be wrong. and pcie 2.0 is just a better version of pcie, but 2.0 is compatible with 1.0, so if your board isn't 2.0 pcie a 2.0 card will still work.
