if that is the case what about your 8800gt, thye dont know how logn uve hadt he card it could have been in a store for 3 months for all they know, i say u try and step it up anyway no clue.

They increased the step-up for the GX2 to 120 days, so you're in luck from that perspective. I don't think moving from a 8800GTS to crossfire'd 3780s would be a big enough increase to put up with the crossfire headaches. I'll wait for the 4xxx series or wait for G200 (Or whatever they are calling it now)
