Protection plan anywhere = NO! I used to work for Sears and I sold tons of LCD monitors and TVs, the protection plans are almost always more than the cost of the repairs, and that's only if the TV ever needs repair within the protection plan time frame, which is nill to never. It's the same everywhere. Just a word to the wise...
